Welcome
Greetings:
Our planet confronts the climate change, and this issue faced by the planet highlights the need for a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions in the forthcoming years. Therefore, H2 production with CO2 capture and utilization will play a major role in the efforts of the community towards a more sustainable society.
In line with global trends of achieving low-carbon and hydrogen economy, our ERC center targets effective utilization of carbon dioxide and ultrapure hydrogen production through chemical looping processes. This technology aims to obtain green hydrogen by implementing a variety of carbon-neutral methods in acquiring raw materials and energy sources.
Strategies for the green hydrogen production will be achieved by orchestrating the following research efforts:
1) Utilization of waste materials such as biomass and biogas
2) Integration of renewable energy including solar power
3) Production, purification, and storage of ultrapure hydrogen and supply chain construction
We encourage you to visit our websites and provide comments for mutual learning, benefits and achievements. Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Jae W. Lee, Director of ERC
